This Blog is dedicated to “Weeding Out “Minnick Myths” debunking the myths that Walt Minnick is a conservative, the truth is he is a liberal, posing as a conservative. He does not have the same environmental, political and “fee market” views as the vast majority of Idahoans. He supported Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, there can be no denying that he will continue to support her as speaker. Pelosi and her colleagues, Walt Minnick, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, John Kerry, and more will  continue their liberal-socialistic programs that will burden taxpayers to the point of collapse.

Idahoans have the opportunity to take the first steps in reversing this ruinous trend. Idahoans do your part vote to  Take Back Idaho’s 1st Congressional District by electing  a “True Conservative” Raul Labrador, for Congress. Labrador for
Idaho

  1. The most important test of a congressman is support of the Constitution. Article 1, Section 1, “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States”. The executive branch is writing laws, executing laws, judging and enforcing laws in clear violation of the Constitution. This is gross abuse of power. We need congressmen who have the wisdom and courage to stop executive abuse of power. The present administration has quickly created 159 new agencies, commissions, bureaus, committees and czars who are publishing regulations. With previous federal agencies they are publishing over 300 regulations per day in the federal register. If Congress doesn’t object within 30 days, they become law. Congress cannot cope wth this flood of regulations. Therefore, regulations become law by default. This is not only unconstitutional, it is very bad for business and productivity. It cannot go on forever. It is destroying our economy and our competiveness. At the Constitutional Convention, Patrick Henry said, “POWER is the great evil with which we are contending. We have divided power between three branches of government, and erected checks and balances to prevent abuse of POWER”. Where is the congressman who will oppose this abuse of power.?
