Minnick Flub With Friend Hoyer:Part Of The Liberal Crowd (Video)

leave a comment »

By Bill Hurst, Minnick, posing as a conservative, has strong ties to Congressman Steny Hoyer. Minnick meets Hoyer in the foyer for funds:

Hoyer has contributed substantially to Minnick’s campaigns through AmeriPAC: -The Fund for a Greater America- Affiliate: Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md). Pelosi (and Steny Hoyer (D-MD)) published an op-ed in USA Today, labeling institutionalized health care protesters as “UN-American.” This is just more of the Democrats favorite strategy of triangulation.  Steny Hoyer is a Liberal-Progressive who has voted with Nancy Pelosi 100% of the time! That tells you a lot about Steny Hoyer!

From Jason Manttera:

In a sense, you have to feel a little sorry for Hoyer, who appears to have bought Jason’s momentary nice-guy approach. That sympathy rapidly disappears when it’s obvious that Hoyer really has no good answer for allowing alleged tax cheat Charlie Rangel to write these new tax laws that will force Americans to pay fines if the IRS doesn’t approve of their health-insurance coverage, with tax cheat Tim Geithner ultimately in charge of those efforts. If Hoyer and the Democratic leadership can’t feel shame over that sorry record, the least they can feel is embarrassment.

In a speech to the progressive think tank, The Third Way, House Majority Leader, Steny Hoyer (D-MD) told the audience that increases in taxes to the middle class may be coming. With the Bush tax cuts ending in January, there had been talk of extending the cuts to the middle class. But with out of control spending programs, massive debts and declining revenues, Hoyer says that taxes will likely rise. Currently, the Bush tax cut saves the average middle class household about $2,000 a year.

Hoyer said:

As the House and Senate debate what to do with the expiring Bush tax cuts in the coming weeks, we need to have a serious discussion about whether we can afford to permanently extend them before we have a real plan for long-term deficit reduction.

Hoyer proposes a mix of spending cuts and tax increases to lower budget deficits. He favors cuts in defense and increasing the retirement age for Social Security. However he does state that we need a:

More progressive Social Security and Medicare benefits and a stronger safety net for Americans who need it most.

Hoyer takes the liberal line, we will increase taxes and we will cut spending, that’s fine but, they inevitably forget the spending cuts. It feels like another round of tax and spend.  It will be more of the same failed stimulus bills, more Keynesian economics [Keynesian Economics Defined (video)], with the redistribute wealth with the “Three-Card Monte.” Yes, it will be easy to save Social Security if you raise the retirement age to 90! With ongoing threats form the middle-east and North Korea, the question is now the time to weaken our national defense?

Minnick flub plays into Simpson’s talk of ‘Speaker Hoyer’

Idaho Democratic Rep. Walt Minnick tripped up and called House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer “Mr. Speaker” while Hoyer was in Boise Monday campaigning for Minnick in his race against GOP nominee Raul Labrador.

Idaho Republican Rep. Mike Simpson has advised Minnick that if Democrats retain the House, he could be part of a small cabal to force out Speaker Nancy Pelosi and replace her with Hoyer.

Minnick Support Of Failed Stimulus Bills (Video)

with one comment

By Bill Hurst, Minnick, posing as a conservative, has supported many of the failed stimulus bills.

Keynesian economics ( Keynesian Economics Defined (video) ) has failed the country in thirties during the “Great Depression” and is worsening the current fragile economy, that the country is experiencing at this present time.  This liberal administration, with Minnick’s votes, are either going to keep raising the national debt by borrowing and eventually will have to raise taxes to pay down the debt. Don’t be fooled, this is why the Democrats are bringing back the so-called “Death Tax” or the Estate Tax at the highest rates. This tax is “invisible”  to the average taxpayer. Taxpayers are not  involved with tax on an annual basis however, this tax brings in billions to the U.S. Treasury.  Those tax rates will have consequences even a medium-sized farming operations or a small businesses. This will put a heavy tax burden (which is due, in cash, within 9 months of death) on the owner’s, families and business associates. More on Minnick’s hand in the economic decline at: Minnick-Democrats F In Economics: Edujobs Stimulus Fix Blows-up In Their Faces (Video) and Minnick Voted To Bring Back The Estate Tax At High Rates

At the Denver Post  they published an editorial that said it’s time to stop this insanity: it’s time to scrap the Keynesian economics. Here is a few words from that editorial:

It looks like the Keynesian theory of infusing massive amounts of government cash into the economy has fizzled. And while many other factors also explain the lack of economic energy, the bottom line is that nearly everyone — from consumers to business owners to government decision-makers — faces tremendous unknowns.

Worries about maintaining jobs and salaries stymie consumers. Businesses are holding back money. Economists also say that likely changes to tax laws and new regulatory environments are having a chilling effect.

And that uncertainty continues to hobble our consumer-generated economy.

The news is dire and the message — we hope — is simple: We need clear-eyed action going forward. Kicking around political footballs when there is a chance the country could slip back into recession cannot be tolerated…

We need our lawmakers in Colorado, and those who represent us in Washington, to start articulating specific proposals meant to restructure government to something we can afford.

Government Double Dipping (Video)

with one comment

By Bill Hurst: Government Double Dipping (Video), Is Government the “sacred cow”  of Government?

I would like to see a cost-benefit study performed on many bureaucratic jobs, incorporated with desk audits. This should be done at all levels of government if this process was done properly, with the aid of computers and software, it could be extremely cost-effective. This should be done on about 80% of government jobs, which could save tax-payers millions, if not billions, of dollars.  Government’s role (The Proper Role of Government) is to make a business friendly atmosphere for the free-enterprise system to thrive. Government’s role is not to become a job producing machine. When government tries to become an employer for “the populace” we will end-up living in a total bureaucratic state, big brother here we come.

More On ObamaCare Fallout (video)

By Bill Hurst: ObamaCare will drive the “Free Enterprise System to extinction!

As the nation moves away from ObamaCare, Minnick, posing as a conservative, and Idaho’s Democrat congressman is for a modified ObamaCare plan.

Fact: All government health care plans are “Socialized Medical Care.” One thing is for sure…Idaho’s  liberal candidate has not given any thought to basic economic principles. When Minnick talks about cost controls… he means price controls. This would limit the number of individuals entering into the health care field reducing the -supply- of skilled health care providers. Those with  skills that could produce more money elsewhere, will leave the health market. Meaning the health care providers left, will demand higher wages because the work load will increase. Resulting in limited (rationed) or substandard care provided in any socialist plan. Liberals just don’t understand the law of supply and demand.

Surgeon General: "ObamaCare is good for you. Now bend over." Minnick says he didn't vote for Obamacare but feels it may be good for Idahoans.

The gimmick Minnick was asked what his response to  Idaho’s Health Care Freedom Act his response, “It will be quit unlikely it (The Health Care Freedom Act) will be successful.”  He said he doesn’t like the current ObamaCare.  Why is Minnick not supporting Idaho’s efforts in eliminating ObamaCare? Is he supportive of the Federal Government being dominate over State’s Rights? Minnick doesn’t want to support the Idaho conservatives working for less government? He wants us to believe  “Minnick Myths” that he is a conservative Democrat. Minnick would rather work on the “flawed bill”  for several more congresses, than helping his fellow Idahoans  scrap the National Health Care Law. Fact is a majority of Americans do not like ObamaCare.

Solution: Idahoans should not send Minnick back to Washington D.C.

Minnick said it was a waste of time to challenge ObamaCare. In Minnick’s own words: -VIDEO-

Minnick stated:

“We should try to sort out over the next several Congresses the good from the bad and make this the bill that we should have passed in the first place.”

LABRADOR LEADS RNC COALITION’S NATIONAL CONFERENCE CALL ON SMALL BUSINESS ISSUES

RNC Invites Raul Labrador to discuss issues that matter with business owners

We need to stop the Obama red-tape machine that is strangling job growth in our country”

Boise, ID- Republican nominee for Idaho’s 1st Congressional District, Rep. Raul Labrador was invited by the RNC to lead a nationwide conference call today to discuss economic issues with hundreds of small business owners.

Labrador commented in a prepared statement, “We discussed the real issues that are important to business owners and all Americans. Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and we all agreed that less government red-tape and reducing the burden of taxes on businesses is one of the keys to economic recovery. We talked about the economy and creating jobs. We spoke a lot about how the Obama/Pelosi agenda has hurt their businesses and what a GOP led Congress would do to change that.

The conference call comes on the heels of a recent trip to Kansas City, Missouri where Labrador was introduced by Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele at a breakfast for RNC State Chairmen, National Committeemen, and National Committeewomen. Also, at the Kansas City meetings, Labrador participated in the RNC Breaking New Grounds Candidates Panel where they discussed the Republican Party and it’s outreach efforts to voters.

Labrador concluded, “I am overwhelmed by the support of the Idaho Republican Party, The Republican National Committee, and the NRCC. We are all working well together to build a grass-roots team that will achieve victory in November, and restore fiscal sanity to the U.S. Congress.”
